Terms of service

Blacrex is operated by [legal entity name], [registered address]. Creating a workspace or using the service means you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation. Questions go to our contact address.

Blacrex is a fixed asset register: a record of the equipment your organisation owns, what it cost, where it is, who holds it, and the history of who held it before. Every module — custody, helpdesk, procurement, licences, maintenance — is included on every plan, free ones included, with no limit on assets or people.

The free plan is not a trial and does not expire. What the paid plans add is exactly two artefacts: your Schedule II depreciation schedule as a download for your audit file, and a TallyPrime journal export. The same schedule stays readable on screen for free, so you see precisely what you are buying before you pay.

Prices are on the pricing section and are billed once a year: ₹24,999 for a register of up to 500 assets, ₹49,999 above that. The two plans are identical in features; the register’s own asset count is what determines which one applies. Prices are final — no GST is added at invoice — and there is no per-user charge.

Nothing renews automatically. We hold no card on file; a paid year ends unless you choose to pay for another. If you stop paying, nothing is locked and nothing is deleted — your register, your people, your history and your depreciation on screen all keep working. Only the two downloads switch off.

Onboarding — importing an existing register, printing first labels, walking your team through a first count — is optional, done remotely, and quoted separately.

Sign-in is by a code emailed to you; there is no password unless you choose to set one. You decide who joins your organisation and what role they hold — viewers read, editors record, administrators manage settings and membership — and you are responsible for what the people you invite do in your workspace.

The records you enter belong to your organisation, not to us. You can export them whenever you want, on any plan, at no charge. How personal data is handled — what is stored, who can see it, how long it is kept — is set out in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything.

Blacrex computes figures — depreciation under Schedule II of the Companies Act 2013, and journal entries for your books. It prepares those figures from what you entered; it does not audit them, and it is not accounting, tax or legal advice. Your accountant or auditor remains responsible for reviewing the outputs and for your filings, and if you find a figure you believe is wrong we want to know about it.

Use the service lawfully and only for keeping your own organisation’s register. Do not attempt to reach another organisation’s data, probe or overload the service, or resell access to it. We may suspend a workspace that does, and will say why.

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and its behaviour is covered by an automated test suite that runs on every change — but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and the service is provided as it is. Keep your own exports of anything your statutory record-keeping depends on; the export is free precisely so that you can.

If we are liable to you for anything connected with the service, that liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using the service at any time — export your data first. Refunds are covered by the refund policy. If these terms change materially we will tell account administrators before the change takes effect; the date at the top always reflects the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of [city, state] have jurisdiction.
